Renting a safari tent for a perched stay in the Dordogne

To discover our safari tents, go to the heart of a forest in the south of the Dordogne, in the Nouvelle Aquitaine, at the foot of the charming village of Biron.

Hidden in the forest, they are raised on platforms about 3 meters above the ground. Spaced 15 to 20 meters apart, they are as alone in the world, among the trees. You will not be disturbed by your neighbors in your safari tent ; only the rustle of leaves and the sound of nocturnal birds will reach your ears. It is ideal for a disconnected holiday, in the middle of the abundant nature of the Dordogne.

Safari tents: comfortable camping for you!

Our safari tents, built by your host Ian, combine canvas and wood. Thus, the exterior is entirely canvas, but the interior walls are made of wood. You therefore benefit from a real separation between the rooms. So if you want to go glamping, or camping with all the comforts of home, the safari tent is for you!

Inside your safari tent, enjoy a real kitchen including a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, gas stove… Everything you need to cook during your stay.

A comfortable sofa corner in the large living room is offered to you by your safari tent. Also enjoy the outdoors with your 3-meter terrace, which will offer you the luxury of eating outside or simply gazing at the trees as far as the eye can see. And this in all weathers: the terrace is covered over 2 meters.

Go luxury camping in a safari tent

Our safari tents can accommodate a maximum of 6 people. In your rental, an equipped bathroom awaits you, as well as two bedrooms to spend peaceful nights: a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two bunk beds, i.e. 4 single beds.

Our safari tents are available for rent during the summer months only. Indeed, it can be very cold at night in winter months. Make sure to bring some warmer clothes for your stay. We will provide you with blankets, in case the nights are chilly. We guarantee it: you will sleep there like babies and very warm.

If you want to hear the falling leaves, the sounds of the forest, the birds, while being in a comfortable and luxurious accommodation: the safari tent is for you. Some call it a safari tent, others a lodge tent or a bungalow tent: it doesn’t really matter whatever the name is. Far from traditional camping, what we offer is staying in an unusual and special accommodation, very close to nature.

Our safari tent rentals in the Dordogne: rates 2022

For the rental of a safari tent, rates are defined for 4 people.
For each additional person, a supplement of 9 euros per night is required.

Rental rates include:

  • administration fees
  • bed and kitchen linen
  • water, electricity, heating
  • VAT

Rates do not include tourist tax.
In addition, do not forget to take your towels!
