For a holiday out of the ordinary, our perched cabin in the heart of the purple Périgord, you can go higher and enjoy the direct view of the castle Biron.

In our chalet park, we wish to have you enjoy the forest even more! Like other accommodations, it is Ian, builder and owner of Castelwood, who designed and built it. It is octagonal and has two floors: on the ground floor, the bedrooms and upstairs, the living room.

The perched cabin is hidden at the far end of the park, a little away from other rentals. Upstairs, a spacious terrace will give you precious moments. Three meters high, you will dominate the forest, looking at the castle of Biron, which gave its name to our cabin. For the climb to be done safely, the outside staircase is not very steep, and a railing surrounds the entire terrace.

The comfort of our tree house

The perched cabin, with an space of ​​62 m2, is designed to accommodate 4 people. The first bedroom contains a double bed, which can become two single beds, at your convenience. The second bedroom has two single bunk beds. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet.

A spiral staircase allows you to reach the living room. A barrier will secure the footsteps of your little ones! Upstairs, you will find an open kitchen ajoining a large living / dining-room. Many windows allow you to enjoy a view almost 360 degrees and bring in lots of light. A sliding door will give you direct access to the terrace that will host, we are sure, many drinks! On the top floor also, a separate toilet will offer you more convenience.

At the foot of the cabin, another small terrace will welcome you. A private parking space is also available.

The plus points of our perched cabin

When you leave your cabin – know that it is possible that you want to stay high up, as the view is beautiful – you can also enjoy all the other services of the park.
So, your children will make friends, around the swing or the toboggan. You will relax around the pool, covered and heated in low season. A paddling pool will also delight the little ones.

A barbecue area will allow you to cook your meal while chatting with your neighbours. You can all share your meal on the large tables available to you or return to dominate the world from the terrace of your tree house.

A laundry area is also available. In addition, we make our bread every day: order it and come and pick it up in your locker! If you wish, we can do your first shopping, in the form of a grocery basket on arrival: you just have to enjoy!

Our chalets rentals in Dordogne: rates 2022

For the rental of a chalet, rates are defined for 4 people.
For each additional person, a supplement of 9 euros per night is required.

Rental rates include:

  • administration fees
  • bed and kitchen linen
  • water, electricity, heating
  • VAT

Rates do not include tourist tax.
In addition, do not forget to take your towels!
