Legal & Privacy Notice
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL
These conditions govern stays at our establishment and aim to ensure the peace, safety, and well-being of all our guests.
VALIDITY OF THE RENTAL
All rentals are personal and may under no circumstances be transferred or sublet to a third party.
The rental agreement only becomes effective and final once the following three conditions are met:
Receipt of the requested deposit;
Express acceptance of this agreement and the general terms and conditions;
Receipt of our written confirmation (sent by email).
RATES, DEPOSIT, AND BALANCE
Payment terms and deadlines:
At the time of booking: Payment of a 25% deposit of the total amount of the stay (required to block and validate the reservation).
At least 30 days before arrival: Payment of the remaining balance (75%). Failure to pay the balance within this period will result in the automatic cancellation of the reservation, and cancellation fees will apply.
Bookings made less than 30 days before arrival: The full amount (100% of the stay) is due immediately upon booking.
Our rates are flexible and based on dynamic pricing. They may therefore fluctuate upwards or downwards depending on demand, how far in advance the booking is made, and the rental period. The rate applicable to your stay is exclusively the one in effect and validated on the day of your firm reservation, as evidenced by our written confirmation. Consequently, no complaint or refund request regarding a price difference observed before, during, or after the stay will be accepted.
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
We strongly advise you to take out cancellation insurance, either through your own provider or through us at the time of booking.
In the event of cancellation by the client, the following amounts will be retained as compensation for breach of contract:
More than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date: an amount equal to the deposit paid (i.e., 25% of the total cost of the stay).
30 days or less before the scheduled arrival date, or in the event of a no-show: an amount equal to the entirety (100%) of the cost of the stay.
Any delay in arrival not reported in writing within 24 hours of the scheduled time will make the rental available again as of right, without any refund possible for the client. Delayed arrival or early departure remain entirely the responsibility and at the expense of the client.
REGARDING ORDERED SERVICES AND OPTIONS (cleaning, groceries, etc.): any option validated by the client is firm and final. It can no longer be cancelled, reduced, or refunded, including before your arrival once it has been confirmed. However, all of these services may be topped up or completed on-site during your stay, subject to our availability.
ARRIVAL, DEPARTURE, AND OCCUPANCY CAPACITY
Hours: You are kindly requested to arrive between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and to vacate the premises no later than 10:00 AM on the morning of your departure.
Maximum capacity: For reasons of safety, insurance, and comfort, the number of people occupying a chalet may under no circumstances exceed the maximum occupancy capacity specified in the contract for the accommodation concerned. Any unauthorized over-occupancy may result in refusal of access to the estate or the immediate termination of the contract at the exclusive fault of the client.
SECURITY DEPOSIT, INVENTORY, AND CLEANLINESS
A security deposit of €250.00 will be requested upon arrival. It will be returned on the day of your departure, after the return of the keys and a joint inspection of the premises. A deduction may be made from this deposit to cover any damage or restoration costs.
Every client is required to comply with the internal rules posted in their chalet. Although cleaning options are available, the chalet must imperatively be left in a decent state of cleanliness at the time of departure: rubbish bins must be emptied and disposed of in the designated containers, dishes must be washed, dried, and put away, and the refrigerator must be completely emptied of all food items.
PET POLICY
Pets are admitted to the estate subject to strict compliance with the following conditions (limited to a single pet per chalet):
Health and identification: The animal must be mandatorily identified (tattooed or microchipped), have up-to-date vaccinations, and its vaccination record must be available for inspection upon arrival.
Responsibility and cleanliness: The owner is fully responsible for their pet. For the well-being of all, pets must strictly be kept on a lead throughout the entire estate. Owners are systematically required to clean up their pet's waste immediately.
Quietness of the premises: Barking and noise disturbances must be kept under control in order to preserve the absolute peace of the site.
Presence: For safety reasons and to avoid any stress in a place unfamiliar to the animal, it is strictly forbidden to leave a pet alone in the chalet when you leave the estate.
Pricing: Bringing a pet incurs additional fees, applicable and payable at the time of your booking. These specific fees are intended to cover the extra cleaning costs and the deep cleaning that the presence of an animal in the chalet necessarily requires.
VISITORS
Day visitors are welcome on the estate free of charge. However, in order to guarantee the safety and peace of the site, the date and precise times of their arrival and departure must be imperatively communicated to us in advance.
For administrative, insurance, and regulatory compliance reasons, your visitors are not permitted to stay overnight (overnight accommodation is strictly reserved for the persons registered on the rental contract). Furthermore, access to and use of the swimming pool is strictly forbidden to them.
USE OF INTERNET AND WI-FI NETWORK
The estate provides guests with internet access via Wi-Fi. The user agrees to use this access reasonably and in strict compliance with applicable laws. It is notably forbidden to use this connection for illegal downloading activities, hacking, or viewing illicit websites. The estate declines all responsibility regarding the use made of its internet connection by residents.
INSURANCE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
It is the client's responsibility to insure themselves personally. The client is invited to check with their own insurance company that they benefit from a "villégiature" (holiday extension) clause for rental risks linked to their personal third-party liability.
The management of the estate declines all responsibility in the event of theft, fire, damage, or loss of personal belongings belonging to tenants or their visitors, whether inside the chalets, in vehicles, or in common parking areas. Likewise, the establishment cannot be held responsible for damage caused to third parties, incidents falling under the client's personal liability, or disruptions beyond its control (severe weather, external network outages, natural disasters, or force majeure events).
DISPUTES AND CONSUMER MEDIATION
In the event of a complaint or dispute relating to your stay, we invite you to contact the management in order to find an amicable solution. Failing an amicable agreement and in accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code, the client has the option to refer the matter free of charge to the approved consumer mediator to whom our establishment is attached.
